The eldest sister of the globally beloved K-pop girl group Ive, Gaeul, will be joining KBS 2TV's 'Convenience Store Restaurant' (hereafter 'Convenience Store Restaurant') as a special MC for the September 5th broadcast. Ive Gaeul is expected to fully fulfill her role as special MC with her bubbly reactions and is also known to reveal her hidden interest in cooking, raising expectations.

During a recent studio recording for "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator," judge Lee Yeon-bok teased Ga-eul, saying, "I heard you're a good cook." Ga-eul responded, "I usually enjoy cooking," and "I love Korean food, so I often make and eat soybean paste stew," drawing attention.

Gaeul didn't stop there, adding, "I often watch 'Convenience Store Restaurant,' and I was recently surprised by Lee Jung-hyun's 5-minute pasta recipe. It looked so simple and easy to follow. I saved it because I wanted to try it myself." The 'Convenience Store Restaurant' cast members responded with anticipation, saying, "We're curious about your cooking skills."

Gaeul's confession that she had saved her own recipe brought a delighted Lee Jung-hyun to a broad smile. She then added, "Today, I'm going to share a really simple kimbap recipe," adding, "It only uses two ingredients," raising anticipation. Reportedly, Gaeul's eyes sparkled at the prospect of this super-easy recipe.
