Kim Ji-won's unexpected past: Briefly preparing to be an idol before becoming an actress

It is interesting and unexpected to hear that Kim Ji-won briefly worked as an idol trainee while learning to dance when she was young. Although we are familiar with her as an actress now, knowing that she once considered a career as a singer on stage gives a fresh perspective on what she went through before her debut. Since she personally shared the process of how she eventually debuted as an actress and even the reasons why she couldn't debut as an idol, I imagine the behind-the-scenes stories she told on 'Salon Drip' must have been quite entertaining.
