[SPOTV News=Reporter Jang Jin-ri] Actress Kim Tae-ri is taking on her first regular variety show in 10 years.
According to a SPOTV News report on the 23rd, Kim Tae-ri will be presenting her first entertainment program with 'After School Theater Club (tentative title)'.
"After School Drama Club" is a program where Kim Tae-ri becomes a drama teacher at a rural elementary school and teaches drama classes to her students. The special journey of Kim Tae-ri, now a passionate "acting teacher," and her adorable students is sure to bring pure laughter and heartwarming emotions to living rooms.
This will be Kim Tae-ri's first variety show appearance in 10 years since her debut. Never seen on variety shows before, Kim Tae-ri reportedly decided to make her first regular appearance on a variety show after much deliberation. Never one to be unmasked from the entertainment industry, Kim Tae-ri, a "natural treasure of variety," is expected to showcase her charms as both "actress Kim Tae-ri" and "personal Kim Tae-ri" in her first variety show in a full 10 years.
Kim Tae-ri, in particular, is a top actress representing South Korea, having conquered everything from romance to historical drama, fantasy, and genre drama. With "The Demon," written by Kim Eun-hee, a master of K-genre films, she won the Grand Prize at the SBS Drama Awards, solidifying her status as a true "Grand Prize Actress."
The process of Kim Tae-ri, who has risen to the top as an actress, creating a special play together with innocent students who have never acted before is expected to deliver vivid fun and deep emotions, just like watching a well-made movie.
Previously, Kim Tae-ri showcased her unpretentious, easygoing charm as "human Kim Tae-ri" through her vlog "Is That Here?", leading to a flood of requests from fans for her variety show appearances. Now that Kim Tae-ri has finally decided to make her first variety show appearance, anticipation is building to see what transformation she will show through "After School Theater Club."
'After School Theater Club', led by Kim Tae-ri, who is 'serious about acting', is scheduled to air on tvN in 2026.
