A pastor of a small country church. His life starts to go wrong as he pursues a man who he believes has received revelations from God.

2. Lee Yeon-hee (Shin Hyun-bin)
He is a detective, but he is a character who has the scars of losing his younger sister in the past. He ends up uncovering the truth between Min-chan and Yang-rae.

3. Kwon Yang-rae (Shin Min-jae)
An ex-convict. Living with the guilt of his past, but this time he gets caught up in a new incident.

All three of them were so three-dimensional that the immersion was no joke.

3. Differences between the original webtoon and the movie

Webtoons are much shorter and more concise.
It had a total of 28 episodes, and it felt more mysterious than the movie.

Does the movie seem to focus more on the psychology of the characters or religious interpretation?

And the visual beauty was definitely weighty, as expected from director Yeon Sang-ho.

4. Plot & Conclusion (Spoilers ahead!)

Pastor Min-chan mistakenly believes he has received a revelation from God following his son's disappearance.
I am certain that Yang Rae, who has a criminal record, is the culprit.
But that revelation was an illusion, and the real events unfolded in a different direction.

In the end, Min-chan tries to kill Yang-rae and gets involved with detective Yeon-hee.
Yang-rae told A-young's location right before he died.
Yeonhee saves Ayoung and Minchan goes to prison.

5. Review: Not as good as I expected, but still worth watching!

Honestly, I thought it was an occult, dark fantasy when I saw the trailer.
When I actually watched it, it was a completely realistic crime thriller?

Contrary to expectations, there are few fantasy elements, but
The psychological portrayal and character-centered development were pretty good.

In particular, Ryu Jun-yeol's acting skills were crazy, and Shin Hyun-bin also portrayed the emotions very well.
However, overall, it feels a bit heavy and stuffy, so opinions may differ!
