Director Kang Hyung-chul, as well as actors Lee Jae-in, Ahn Jae-hong, Ra Mi-ran, Kim Hee-won, Oh Jung-se, and Park Jin-young attended the event.

'High Five' is a comic action film that depicts the story of five people who accidentally gain different superpowers through organ transplants and meet those who covet their powers. It is the new work of director Kang Hyung-chul, who has received much love for works such as 'Speed ​​Scandal', 'Sunny', 'Tazza: The Hidden Card', and 'Swing Kids'.

On this day, director Kang Hyung-chul said, "I've always wanted to make a movie that's comfortable and fun to watch. I was given this great opportunity and wanted to try making it. Also, I have a friend who I can share interesting stories with, so I came up with a good idea and ended up making 'High Five.'"

Also, "Although we used the unrealistic subject of superpowers, we wanted to keep it grounded with more realistic situations and people. The characters played by the actors are the yogurt lady and the daughter of the neighborhood taekwondo gym," and "We drew what would happen if the neighborhood people, people who are grounded in our reality and can be commonly seen around us, gained superpowers. We focused on creating comedy by focusing on the laughter that arises then."

Wanseo, a pure and confident girl who loves Taekwondo, receives a miraculous heart transplant after a long illness, and discovers that she has gained superpowers such as explosive strength and lightning-fast speed.

Lee Jae-in said, "I grew up watching and really liking hero movies. I also had a huge desire for action. I was so grateful that the director gave me the opportunity to show off my action skills. I remember doing a kick when we first met."

While saying this, he said, "I'm a beginner at comedic acting. Wanseo is a beginner hero and I'm a beginner actor. So I tried to give Wanseo a lot of the elements that I have. As I did that, I also found some parts that were funny. It seemed like Wanseo was having fun because I gave her some things. While filming, I also thought to myself, 'Am I kind of funny now?'" and pointed out the points of his comedic acting.

Ji-seong, played by Ahn Jae-hong, is an aspiring writer who receives a lung transplant from a mysterious donor and gains lung capacity that is so extraordinary that he can blow away everything in front of him.

Ahn Jae-hong said, "I was so drawn to Director Kang Hyung-chul's work and the fact that I could work with Director Kang Hyung-chul that I really wanted to work with him. I was so curious about what kind of story he would show and portray," and "I was really impressed as soon as I read the script. It was a script that was really exciting to see how he came up with this story, material, development, and teamwork."

He also pointed out, "In 'High Five,' all the characters have very distinct personalities. When characters from different worlds come into one world, I think that in itself becomes comedy. And I think the comedy that is created by telling different stories is very pleasant and you'll be able to feel a very powerful sense of fun."

The role of 'Fairy', who shows off her beauty after receiving a 'kidney' transplant, is played by Ramiran. Fairy, who received a kidney transplant, does not even realize that she has supernatural powers, and lives her life by being kind to those around her with her healthy body and mind.

Ramiran said, "Of course I had expectations and trust in the director, but my greatest trust was in my role. He said it was a pretty role," and "He said that if I wasn't pretty, I could use my superpowers to become pretty, so I thought, 'When will I ever get to do this again? ' and happily did it, thinking that it would be the last in my life."

Regarding his comedic acting in 'High Five', he said, "I didn't try to make something funny. I just acted seriously within the character, and that's what made it funny. We didn't do anything to make it funny. That's how it was written," and "Being grounded in reality meant I just had to become a person in that reality. I acted without any burden, just like I usually do," showing off his extraordinary acting skills.

Kim Hee-won becomes a 'medicinal' who receives a 'liver' transplant and gains the superpower to cure all diseases, and shows off his 'healing hand' that can heal everything. Kim Hee-won, who played the role of a gym teacher at Jeongwon High School in Disney+'s 'Moving', has taken on the role of a person with superpowers through 'High Five'.

Kim Hee-won said, "I thought, 'I'm finally going to become someone with superpowers. ' As soon as I read the script, I thought, 'I'm finally going to become someone with superpowers. '" He emphasized, "That's what attracted me the most. Also, the script is different. If you watch the movie later, you'll know that it's different, funny, and very new."

As he has played various villain roles, attention is also being paid to whether Kim Hee-won will play a villain in 'High Five'. Kim Hee-won waved his hand, saying, "I don't play villain roles these days." Director Kang also made everyone laugh by saying, "If you look at Senior Hee-won's face, you can tell that he plays good roles."

Here, the role of 'Jong-min', who shows off his 'god-like' presence among those with superpowers, is played by Oh Jung-se. He is expected to captivate the audience with the most powerful ability that only a father can display.

Oh Jung-se expressed his trust in director Kang, saying, "I also had a lot of fun because of director Kang Hyung-chul. People around me still say, 'Director Kang Hyung-chul's movie,' when I ask them what genre of movie they want to play a character in next. The set was great, and the people were great, too. It was a film that still had the romanticism of cinema. I remember having fun doing it."

This is already the third time that Oh Jung-se and director Kang have worked together, following "Tazza: The Hidden Card" and "Swing Kids." Director Kang said, "I've never really thought of a particular actor when writing a script. When I'm writing a script, a certain character raises his hand and says, 'Me, me.' One of those characters is actor Oh Jung-se." He continued, "No matter how hard I try to avoid him, he's always there because he's there. I think he's an actor I had to work with, I had to meet him. He's an unexpected persona."

Park Jin-young plays the role of Young-chun, the leader of the New Church who gained the supernatural power of rejuvenation after receiving a pancreas transplant, and who exudes an overwhelming aura and creates tension with his gaze that seems to see through everything.

Park Jin-young said, "Of course, I wanted to do it first because of the director. And as a young actor, when I heard that the seniors here and Ms. Jae-in were going to be in it, there was absolutely no reason not to do it. I thought about how I could definitely do it from the moment I heard about it. I am honored to participate."

'High Five' was originally scheduled to finish filming in 2021 and be released in 2023, but its release was postponed due to Yoo Ah-in's drug scandal. In 'High Five', Yoo Ah-in plays the role of 'Kidong', a hipster unemployed man who received a cornea transplant. Yoo Ah-in was sentenced to one year in prison in the first trial on drug use charges in September of last year and was detained in court, but was recently released after five months in custody when his sentence was reduced to one year in prison and two years of probation in the second trial.

When asked about his feelings at the time, Director Kang said, "It's a shame. It's something I wish hadn't happened. At the time, the movie wasn't finished yet, so I was busy with post-production," and added, "I once heard someone say, 'When something big happens, a competent leader should solve it first. '"

He then confessed, "At that time, as a director and a person in charge, I had a strong determination to work hard on post-production to complete the film and to complete the work of brilliant actors."
