<28 Weeks Later> follows the aftermath of <28 Days Later> and tells the story of the resurgence of the rage virus and the collapse of the reconstruction of London.

In particular, in the last scene, there was a hint that the virus had spread to Paris, France.
<28 Years Later> is set 28 years later in a world where human civilization has completely collapsed.

 

3. Plot: The Rage Virus and What Happened After

The film begins with the story of a family living on the isolated island of 'Holy Island'.

 

Jamie (Aaron Johnson), Isla (Jodie Comer), and their son Spike live isolated lives.

The conflict between the rage virus, the mutated zombies, and the survivors begins to unfold in earnest.
They embark on a perilous journey to meet Dr. Carlson (Ralph Fiennes).

- Jamie: A former firefighter. He risks everything to protect his family.
- Isla: Pregnant. Natural childbirth… She is the main character of the greatest scene ever.
- Spike: A new generation kid. A boy who grows up with zombies.

- Sir Jimmy Crystal: The leader of the cult. Who was that guy who showed up wearing a crown?

 

5. Ending Interpretation: Jimmy's appearance, a foreshadowing of Teletubbies?

At the end, Jimmy appears as an adult, wearing the cross he inherited from his father upside down around his neck.
The purple tracksuit and crown reminds me of the Teletubbies from the beginning.

 

He appears as some sort of cult leader, with a group of people dressed in colorful clothes.

I'm really curious to see how this setup will carry over into the sequels, Temple of Bones and 28 Years Later: Part 3.

 

6. Cookie video? There is one, but you don't have to watch it.

There is a short video in the middle and at the end of the ending credits,
There's no need to wait because it's a clip that repeats a scene that you've already seen.

There were no cookies that threw out a separate piece of bait.

 

7. Review: Disgusting but philosophical, what to recommend?

To be honest, it's the ultimate in gore, philosophy, and weirdness.

 

Zombie natural birth, euthanasia of cancer patients, skull memorial tower… all of this is in <28 Years Later>.
Highly recommended for those who don't mind brutal scenes and like zombie movies with a social message!

On the other hand, if you like clean, traditional horror, you might want to take a deep breath before watching it…
