Actor Yoo Ah-in (Eom Hong-sik, 38), who is accused of habitual drug use, received a final suspended sentence.

On the morning of the 3rd, the Supreme Court 1st Division (Chief Justice Yong-ju Ma) held a sentencing hearing for the appeal trial of Yoo Ah-in, who was indicted on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act (intoxication), smoking marijuana, and instigating it. On that day, the court confirmed the original sentence of 1 year in prison, 2 years of probation, and a fine of 2 million won.

Yoo Ah-in was brought to trial on charges of habitually administering medical narcotics such as propofol, midazola, ketamine, and remimazolam under the pretext of sleep anesthesia for cosmetic procedures from September 2020 to March of last year, and illegally receiving prescriptions for sleeping pills under other people's names.

He was sentenced to one year in prison in the first trial last September and was detained in court, but was released after the sentence was reduced to one year in prison with two years of probation in the appeal trial.
