In this movie Superman Total 2 cookie videos There is. But to get to the conclusion, it is not an important plot point that directly connects to the sequel, so you don't necessarily have to see it. However, if you like the DC Universe, it would be good to see it to understand the worldview.

The first cookie is a scene where Superman and Superdog 'Krypto' are looking at Earth from a space that is presumed to be the moon. And the second cookie is a scene where Terrific and Superman are talking about the status of the portal restoration. After that, Peacemaker, Maxwell Lord (Sean Gunn), and many cameos appear. In other words, it has a strong feeling of fan service and does not directly hint at the next story, but it has the characteristic of continuing the flow of expansion of Supergirl and the DC hero universe.

3. Interpretation of the ending and regrets

The plot is a typical DC hero movie, but there were many reviews that said that the individual activities were a bit lacking compared to the title of 'Superman'. In particular, there were many reviews that said that the presence of Lex Luthor, Green Lantern, and Krypto was more distinct than that of David Corenswet, who played the new Superman. As expected of a new start for DC, various characters appeared at the same time from the beginning, and the story flowed quickly, and if you are not an existing fan, there were some parts that were somewhat unfamiliar and difficult to immerse yourself in.

4. Sequel hints & DC Universe expansion

The most notable sequel teaser is the part that hints at the appearance of 'Supergirl'. The setting expands to a world where various heroes are intertwined and influence society, rather than a world where Superman is active alone.

Supergirl is the most likely sequel after Superman. With the appearance of Peacemaker, Terrific, and Maxwell Lord, it has garnered favorable reviews for its many connections that are familiar to DC fans. Like the direction that director James Gunn has shown in Marvel, the story development that emphasizes fun + emotion + connection stands out.

5. What is your final review?

David Corenswet's Superman still feels like he's growing up, and I think he'll be able to really show off his Superman-like skills in the next film.
