[Geum Bitna MK Sports Reporter] Hiki successfully completed his music show promotions for 'It Was Summer'.

Group H1-KEY (Seo Yi, Riina, Hwiseo, Yel) ended their music broadcast promotions for their title song "It Was Summer" from their 4th mini album "Lovestruck" with the MBC "Show! Music Core" broadcast on the afternoon of the 19th.

On this day, Hiki showed off their irreplaceable charm with addictive sounds and refreshing performances. They proved the Hiki modifier of 'trustworthy and listenable' by leaving a legendary stage with a refreshing atmosphere that will blow away the heat and vitamin-like energy.

Starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 26th of last month, Hickey met with fans through various music show stages such as KBS2's 'Music Bank', MBC's 'Show! Music Core', and SBS's 'Inkigayo'. In particular, the members showed off a concept that was even more upgraded than before and their best visuals to date, filling this summer with 'It Was Summer'.

"It Was Summer" has settled into the top 100 charts of major domestic music sites such as Melon, Genie, Bugs, Flo, and Vibe, and is rising to the top of global charts such as iTunes album chart and Apple Music, emerging as a representative summer seasonal song.

Especially, energetic songs and performances aimed at summer are receiving enthusiastic responses from fans both domestically and internationally. Accordingly, Hiki's hit songs 'Rose Blooming Between Buildings' (건사피장) and 'Let It Burn' are also being re-examined and are spreading by word of mouth. With a refreshing atmosphere that matches well with the hot summer, it is expected that the upward trend in music charts will continue for the time being.

After wrapping up their music show promotions, Hickey shared their thoughts through their agency. Seo Yi said, “It was another summer that we had been longing for, and it was a promotion that will be remembered for a long time with one dazzling cut.” Riina expressed her gratitude, saying, “It was an album that we prepared with more sincerity than ever, and thanks to all the love, we were able to enjoy ourselves on stage.”

Also, Hwiseo said, "It's sad that our comeback activities are ending, but I'm thankful and happy that we were able to achieve good results. Please spend the rest of the summer with Hiki." Finally, Yel said, "Thank you for giving us so much love, not for the reverse run, but for the regular run. We have a lot more to show you in the future, so please look forward to it," expressing her affection for Mikey (fandom name).
