S-Line Ending Interpretation Summary! Shocking Lee Kyu-jin Identity Da-hee Dark Curse Webtoon Ending Season 2 Prediction

Are you curious about the ending of S-Line? We've summarized the true identity of Lee Kyu-jin's mastermind, the meaning of Da-hee Lee's character, the differences between the webtoon and drama endings, and even the possibility of a season 2.

1. S-Line Conclusion, How Did It End?

Wave's original drama "S-Line" ended with a short but intense 6-part series. In the final episode, Lee Kyu-jin was revealed to be the person who planned all the incidents of S-Line, causing shock.

On the rooftop, Hyun-heup has a final confrontation with Lee Kyu-jin, and as Hyun-heup's bloody red line spreads across the world, a world opens up where everyone can see the S-line without glasses. The ending is an open ending, showing people's moral confusion and insensitivity.

2. What is the interpretation of the ending? What does the red line mean?

The drama's ending isn't a simple twist, but rather a metaphor for human desire and morality. The S-line is a red thread symbolizing sexual relationships and secrets, but in the ending, the line becomes visible to everyone, diminishing the "meaning of relationships." This can be interpreted as a critical message: in modern society, information overload dilutes truth and dulls people's moral standards.

3. Lee Kyu-jin’s true identity, why was he the mastermind?

Lee Kyu-jin initially appears as an accomplice, but she is revealed to be a key figure in orchestrating all the S-line incidents and distributing the glasses. She is interpreted as a "divine being" or "observer" who experiments with and manipulates human relationships and desires. Depicted as a being impervious to guns, she serves as a test of human moral limits and social desires. Lee Kyu-jin is not simply a "villain"; she symbolizes the collapse of morality and the essence of desire in modern society.

4. What is the difference between the webtoon ending and the drama ending?

The original webtoon, "S-Line," was an omnibus format, with each story concluding independently, leaving a somewhat lingering impression. However, the drama expanded the storyline and reinterpreted it as a fantasy-thriller centered on the conflict between Lee Kyu-jin and Hyun-heup. Notably, the drama introduced a new setting: "a world where everyone can see the S-Line," offering a more direct portrayal of human nature and moral confusion.

5. Is there a possibility of season 2? Any hints?

While no official announcement has been made, the open ending suggests a second season is highly likely. The final scene, where Hyun-heup hears Lee Kyu-jin's voice again, foreshadows that the S-Line universe isn't over yet. If a second season is produced, key elements likely include new conflicts in a world where everyone can see the S-Line, the potential return of Lee Kyu-jin, and Hyun-heup's story of trauma and growth.
