Jeon So-mi: "Positive discussions regarding I.O.I's 10th anniversary next year... Scheduling currently underway."

[SPOTV News=Reporter Jeong Hye-won] Singer Jeon So-mi revealed that she is sharing positive stories in celebration of I.O.I's 10th anniversary next year.


When asked if she was actually talking about the 10th anniversary with the members, Jeon So-mi said, "Yes! We are talking about it. Next year is our 10th anniversary, and we originally planned to reunite five years after our promotions ended. We also made a promise with our fans, but we were all busy with our own promotions. I started a solo, and my sisters started acting with the group, so we tried to get together, but it wasn't easy because we were all working in different areas."

Jeon So-mi continued, "Since it's our 10th anniversary, there are many things that many people are hoping for. We're also hoping for that, so we're having a lot of conversations right now. We're already coordinating our schedules to do well next year." She continued, "I'm grateful that people are still asking, 'Do you have any plans to reunite?' and 'Do you have a group chat?' It seems like they're very interested. We're talking about how we can do well and leave everyone with good memories without it being sloppy. We're discussing it positively," raising expectations for I.O.I's 10th anniversary next year.

The new album contains a total of five tracks, including the title track "Closer," "Escapade," "Extra," "Chaotic & Confused," and "Delu." The title track "Closer" is a stutter house style song that samples Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls." Jeon So-mi's second EP "Chaotic & Confused" will be released on the 11th at 6 PM.
