On the 1st, Yubin said through her personal account, "My older sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 and has been going through difficult treatment since then. Unfortunately, in 2024, the cancer metastasized to the brain, and she continues to fight a painful battle every day."

While doing so, she made a desperate appeal, saying, "Fortunately, we have managed to find an effective treatment, but due to realistic circumstances, it is extremely difficult to receive proper treatment. I desperately want to protect my sister even a little, so I ask for your help."

Yubin then asked for support for a national petition. The petition she requested support for was titled "Petition for National Health Insurance Coverage and Expedited Processing of Tucatinib, a Breast Cancer Brain Metastasis Treatment." Tucatinib is known to cost approximately 200 million won per year.

The petitioner stated, "We earnestly petition for the application of health insurance coverage for 'Tukisa' so that the tragedy of patients and their families being forced to give up a life-saving drug approved by the state for financial reasons will not occur."
