From reviews and reviews of director Park Chan-wook's new film, "Inevitable," to the number of cookie videos and the original novel, we've compiled it all in one place! We'll introduce you to the charm of this black comedy that's both funny and leaves a strangely lingering impression.

1. There is no other way. Review

He was an ordinary father It's a black comedy that unfolds when Mansu (Lee Byung-hun) gets laid off. There were many moments when the audience burst out laughing and then suddenly became emotional.

It's funny but sad, and sad but also makes you laugh... It's exactly Director Park Chan-wook's style.

2. Review Summary - A Black Comedy Compared to Parasite

Many critics I was reminded of director Bong Joon-ho's <Parasite>. In fact, it is similar in that it satirizes the brutal competitive structure of capitalist society.

But <There's No Choice> pushes a much more "funny and sad" emotional line.

Actor Lee Byung-hun's performance, in particular, played a huge role. Even though he committed a terrible act, he was strangely human, and the audience couldn't help but laugh.

3. How many cookie videos? You have to sit through them all.

What the audience is most curious about Cookie video!

This episode of "No Choice" features a cookie video. It doesn't completely change the story, but it's a meaningful device that makes you ponder the ending, so you'll regret missing it. Be sure to stay until the very end, even after the credits roll.

4. Connection with the original novel <Axe>

This film is based on the novel "Axe" by American author Donald Westlake. While the novel depicts a man eliminating his rivals with a gun, director Park Chan-wook has further strengthened the metaphor of the "axe" and layoffs to better reflect the realities of Korean society.

Above all else "I can't help it" The repetitive attitude and self-rationalization are alive and well throughout the film, so it's fun to compare it to the original.

5. Audience Reaction and Expectations

The news that it received perfect scores at the Venice Film Festival has also raised expectations among Korean fans.

If you watch it, you'll understand why people joke, "It might not be a Cannes film, but it could be a 10 million-dollar film." It feels like it's got both popularity and artistic value. I think those who enjoy black humor will be truly satisfied.
