'The Awards Black Label' is the grand prize title and awards are given across eight categories including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Performance of the Year, Record of the Year, Trend of the Year, The Awards Iconic, and The Awards Global. 'The Awards Delights Blue Label' is given to the main awards, which form the core of the awards ceremony, and the BEST category, which is a sub-award category. The BEST category was awarded in advance to allow for the speed of the awards ceremony. 'The Awards Dreams Silver Label' is for selecting outstanding new artists who will lead the future of Korean popular music. All eyes are on who will receive the honor of the three-colored trophy, another symbol of 'The Awards'.

The 2nd The Awards will be held at 6 p.m. on the 11th at the Hwajeong Gymnasium at Korea University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. It will be broadcast live on Channel A Plus and delayed on Channel A at midnight the same day.
