At the 98th Academy Awards (hereinafter "Oscars") held in Los Angeles, USA on the 15th (local time), "Golden," the OST for the Netflix animation "K-Pop Demon Hunters," won Best Original Song.

"Gold" is the main theme song that adorns the highlight scene where the fictional girl group Huntricks achieves their goal. Along with the film's worldwide success, it captivated global listeners by dominating the top spots on domestic and international music charts. Notably, it held the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks, which is highly unusual for an OST. It won Best Original Song (Motion Picture) at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards and achieved a record as the first K-pop song to win the "Best Song Written for Visual Media" award at the 68th Grammy Awards.
