평소에 겁이 많은데도 공포영화를 찍다니 대단하네요 얼마나 대본이 매력적으로 느껴졌다는건지 알 수 있어요

"The first day I read the script, I had a nightmare as soon as I fell asleep." Lee Jong-won attended an interview for the film *Salmokji* (directed by Lee Sang-min) in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. A commercial feature film, the horror genre, a movie lead... All of these are firsts for him.
"Ever since I was young, whenever I went to the movie theater, I often imagined, 'What would it be like if I were in that?' And now, that has become a reality. This is my first time starring in a commercial film. Perhaps because of that, I keep feeling emotions I've never experienced before." The genre of her first commercial film is horror. While stating that she "usually has a weak nerve and didn't pay much attention to the horror genre," she explained her reason for taking on the role, saying, "The reason for my choice was simple. As I read it, the script kept playing in my mind. It was solely the power of the script."
"The character Gi-tae is a role I have never played before. Since I have never done a horror film in my acting career, I was interested in it in many ways. I felt certain as soon as I read the script." He considers his unique weapon to be his gaze. "The eyes are the best means to convey a character without dialogue. I consider it my strength and try to utilize it. I hope many people will recognize it," he said.
"It feels like I dipped my toes into the film industry with the horror movie 'Salmokji.' Now that I've done that, I'm even more ambitious as an actor. I want to swim in the world of movies."
