On the 24th, the Baeksang Arts Awards Secretariat announced, "Voting for the Naver Popularity Award will be conducted for 12 days from 12:00 PM on April 24 to 11:59 PM on May 5 (KST)."

The 'Naver Popularity Award' selects the male and female winners with the most votes from among the nominees for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best New Actor, and Best Variety Show Performer in the Broadcasting category; Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best New Actor in the Film category; Acting Award in the Theater category; and Acting Award in the Musical category. 41 men and 38 women have been nominated.

The '62nd Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci,' Korea's only comprehensive arts awards ceremony encompassing broadcasting, film, theater, and musicals, will be held on May 8 at 7:50 PM at Coex Hall D in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Shin Dong-yup, Suzy, and Park Bo-gum will serve as MCs. The event will be broadcast live simultaneously on JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4, and will be exclusively live-streamed digitally on Naver.
