Lately, online communities and social media have been flooded with talk about this. It is about the performance singer BIBI showed at 'Waterbomb Seoul 2026,' and the debate over its provocative nature is incredibly heated🔥 As someone who was shocked after watching the video myself, I’m going to summarize everything for you, from what actually happened to the reactions!

BIBI at 'Waterbomb Seoul 2026' held at the outdoor Global Stage of KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province on the 25th She took the stage. On this day, she filled the stage with songs such as 'Best Lover', 'Night Sweet', and 'The Weekend', and it is said that she started the performance wearing a white jumpsuit.
2. Exactly which performance became controversial?
During the song, Bibi performed a stunt where she knelt down and unzipped her wet jumpsuit to reveal the bikini top she was wearing underneath. This was followed by a scene where she knelt while surrounded by shirtless male dancers and received a microphone.
The video spread rapidly as it was uploaded to Waterbomb's official social media, and "The direction was reminiscent of sexual acts," "The level of explicitness was excessive." is intellectual and "It's a performance typical of BIBI," "It's an R-rated adult festival, so what's the problem?" Opinions in favor of doing so are sharply opposed.

Looking at the actual comments, opinions were really divided! To summarize, it feels something like this.
"The movements are excessively explicit," "to the point of reminiscent of a strip show," etc. Opinion pointing out the level
"It is a bold production since it is an event rated 19+," etc. Opinions in favor of freedom of expression
"I understand that it is an adults-only event, but isn't promoting it on social media a separate issue?" Concerns about exposure of minors
There were also many reactions saying, "BIBI has always done this kind of concept, so what's so surprising?"

4. The fact that Bibi's past controversies have also been brought up again.
Taking this opportunity, Bibi's past performances are also being re-examined. A shocking incident at the 2022 Waterbomb stage where a bikini strap came undone while removing her top. There was, and at a university festival in the same year, she called a male fan onto the stage and displayed physical contact, such as holding his hand, having him sit on her lap, and kissing him on the face. 'Sexual objectification' controversy I did this too.
5. There were also voices comparing them to overseas artists.
Meanwhile, some netizens "Isn't it a double standard to view the provocative performances of international pop stars like Cardi B, Doja Cat, and Sabrina Carpenter favorably, while Bibi is singled out for criticism?" They also voiced opinions. Although there are cultural differences, the atmosphere is such that discussions regarding the differences in domestic and international standards are also continuing.
