Viewing it may cause emotional or physical distress or flashbacks depending on past experiences, so please consider your own emotional state before proceeding.   In late May of this year, while the victim was in a state of severe intoxication that made it difficult for her to make sound judgments or free decisions, I engaged in sexual activity with her despite the fact that she was not in a state to freely consent due to my overbearing attitude and the imbalance of power between us. This constituted non-consensual sexual intercourse. The man engaged in sexual intercourse without using a condom, falsely claiming to have used one, infringing upon the victim's right to self-determination and causing her anxiety about unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. He also inflicted deep physical and mental trauma on the victim, including PTSD and lacerations.   Even though the victim later reported the incident, I did not understand my own harmful actions at the time. Due to this lack of awareness, I repeatedly told the victim that I "didn't notice" or "was unaware," which hurt them even more. That, too, is my responsibility. Furthermore, I made the victim explain the events multiple times, burdening them with the task of correcting their own perception. I deeply regret that this process prolonged the victim's suffering and caused secondary harm, and I take full responsibility for it.   This situation stemmed from a deep-rooted misogynistic value system that prioritized one's own desires and perceptions over respecting the other person as an equal individual, in addition to a lack of understanding of gender and sexual violence. Furthermore, they disregarded their own social standing, influence, and the inequality of power dynamics with their partners, using this power to create dominant relationships and engage in one-sided sexual acts.   Furthermore, the fact that the victim was non-binary and that her self-identity and dignity should have been respected, yet this was disregarded and the perpetrator prioritized their own sexual desires, constituted a serious human rights violation. These are not simply a lack of knowledge, but rather the result of interpreting situations in a way that suits oneself, prioritizing oneself over the other person's wishes, safety, and right to self-determination. I deeply recognize the violence inherent in this and accept responsibility for it.   This incident is not the only instance where I have repeatedly acted in a way that disregarded others as equals, prioritizing my own desires and convenience, and treating them as mere sexual objects. I admit that this violence had become commonplace. Now that I am beginning to understand my own unconscious violence, I realize that there are other victims. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to everyone who has been hurt by the sexual violence I have committed. I am truly sorry.   We deprived the victims of their safety and freedom, and had a long-lasting impact on their lives, futures, and overall well-being. Furthermore, we betrayed the expectations and trust placed in our social activism and musical work, and trampled on their dignity, something that can never be fully compensated for, no matter how many times we apologize.   As previously announced, all currently scheduled live performances have been canceled, and I will be suspending my activities for a certain period. Going forward, I will continue to learn with the support of experts, including participating in a sexual violence perpetrator program, and work to prevent recurrence.
