But looking at social media these days, I heard that prime paid spots like the Starbucks Yeouido Hangang branch and Ashley Queens at the cruise dock are already fully booked, even though they cost hundreds of thousands of won. On top of that, Nodeul Island, which used to be a free attraction, sold out long ago as it switched to a paid ticket system for all zones this year.😢 So where are ordinary citizens like us supposed to watch? • Saeyuksin Park (191 Noryangjin-ro, Dongjak-gu / 10-minute walk from Exit 2 of Noryangjin Station (Line 1) and Exit 1 of Nodeul Station (Line 9) — A prime free spot on a hill where you can also enjoy the city night view.

 

• Banpo Hangang Park (40, Sinbanpo-ro 11-gil, Seocho-gu / Exit 1, Sinbanpo Station, Line 9) — Fireworks unfolding over Dongjak Bridge, but it is the unwritten rule to secure a spot early in the morning.

Yanghwa Hangang Park — There is a point with an unobstructed view toward Dangsan Railway Bridge.

Mangwon Hangang Park — It is a bit far from Yeouido, but you can definitely avoid the congestion.

 

However, ⚠️ viewing is not allowed on Wonhyo Bridge itself! The Seoul Metropolitan Government has announced that the roadway and sidewalks of Wonhyo Bridge will be completely closed from 9:00 AM on September 5th until 3:00 AM the following day, so please do not take a spot on the bridge.

 

Yeouidong-ro will be completely closed from 3 PM to midnight on September 5. It works.

Trains at Yeouinaru Station will pass through without stopping or entrances will be closed during peak hours from 7 PM to 10 PM. It can be.
