Kindy Lounge Unveils New Releases to Watch in October… Selects Jeon Se-yeon, Boramiyu, Gureum, and More
Kindy Lounge, operated by the Korea Music Label Industry Association (KMIA), introduced four notable new releases for the first week of October.
Singer-songwriter Jeon Se-yeon, signed to Innext Trend (Long Play Music), released the single "Blue Season" on the 1st. Capturing the excitement and curiosity of the moment love begins, the song uses the metaphor of the seasons to express the process of an ordinary daily life transforming into something special after meeting someone. Jeon Se-yeon's refreshing vocals blend with a rock-based band sound, and the song portrays the emotions of falling in love through repetitive guitar riffs and an upbeat rhythm.
'Blue Season' also serves as the starting point for the 'seasonal' concept music that Jeon Se-yeon will present. Moving forward, she plans to sequentially release related songs, expressing the emotions and stories that change with the seasons through her own unique music.
Singer-songwriter Boramiyu, signed to Shofar Entertainment, released the single "We in the Future I Bet On" on the 5th. The work captures the process of reflecting on oneself after passing through an exhausting and quiet summer, and finding what one likes and wants.
The title track, 'We in the Future I Bet On,' captures both the desire to be with a loved one and the determination to make choices for one's own happiness. The B-side track, 'Running Through a Dazzling Season,' expresses the sentiment of letting go of past love and seasons, hoping to one day face them again with smiling faces. Boramiyu wrote the lyrics for both songs and also participated in the composition and arrangement alongside Lee Jong-hoon.
Singer-songwriter Goo-reum, signed to Mound Media (Tapes), released the EP 'MENDING PROCESS' on the 6th. The album captures the story of how everyone lives with a little bit of wounds, but ultimately heals themselves in the process. Looking into the heart that cannot completely hate the person who hurt you and the emotions that remain even after a relationship has ended, the artist expresses through music even the inner self that has not yet fully recovered.
The album contains a total of five songs, including 'Why We', 'MENDING PROCESS', 'Ground Plane', 'bluebulb', and 'Living on While Little by Little Broken'. Goo-reum participated in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of all the songs, connecting the various emotions encountered in relationships and the process of self-reflection into a single story.
Berlin-based singer-songwriter Asia de Saleh will release the single 'Yeongwon' on the 30th. The song is a newly produced Korean version of her existing track 'Ewigkeit,' singing about enduring love, freedom, and the connection between people.
The lyrics, which sing "We will be together forever" while dancing freely and soaring into the sky, capture emotions of love and freedom. Adding an upbeat pop rhythm to Asia de Saleh's vocals and emotional melody, it conveys a different atmosphere through Korean lyrics while maintaining the European pop flavor of the original song.
This single is the first collaborative project between Germany's 'HAUS2000' and Seoul's 'AUDIOGUY'. 'SOUND360' performed 'Dolby Atmos' mixing to create a sense of space and three-dimensional sound.
Meanwhile, '2026 La La La On' will hold performances at five small venues in Seoul and Daegu during the second week of October. A total of 15 teams, including Siwa, Babyfeel, Oh Yerin Band, Sonoros, Gypsy Yurangdan, and Geuphan Muse, will take the stage.
The performances, which have been centered in Seoul, are being expanded to Daegu, continuing the connection between local small theaters and audiences. A total of 53 performances are scheduled to be held by this coming November, and the schedule and ticket reservation information for each performance can be found on the official social media channels of '2026 Lalalaon'.
