The full story of the TXT Choi Soobin private life controversy that recently rocked Chinese social media! We have summarized everything for you at an easy-to-understand glance, from the leaked buttocks photo and one-night stand rumors to fans' claims of AI-generated content and real-time community reactions.

1. The beginning of the incident: Rumors of leaked private photos originating from Chinese social media (Weibo)

This controversy started not in Korea, but on the Chinese social media platform Weibo.

A Chinese user claimed to have met Subin during the tour and started spreading revealing photos (so-called butt-exposure photos).

Eventually "Choi Soobin had a one-night stand with a Chinese international student during the tour," "the other person is a man/woman" As unverified and sensational rumors were added, it instantly rose to the number one spot on Weibo's real-time search rankings. Related Chinese tweets were translated and made their way to Korean Twitter timelines, causing great shock to domestic fans as well.

2. Fans' Reactions: "This is 100% AI-generated!" VS "Is it real?"

As soon as the photo was released, a huge debate erupted among fans and netizens. In particular, fans are analyzing the composition of the original photo, the facial features, and skin tone of the person, and are strongly claiming that "it is a fake photo created by using AI deepfake to superimpose Choi Soobin's face onto another person's photo." In fact, among Chinese fans as well, there have been reactions presenting other original images or evidence of deepfake, crying out, "This is clearly a rumor and a composite."

On the other hand, general community users, faced with the sudden and highly provocative news, Rather than focusing on the fact of whether "he really had a one-night stand," some reacted with disbelief, asking, "Who is the other person?"

As fake news and malicious rumors spread so quickly, the timeline itself has truly become a cauldron of chaos.

3. Current Situation and the Need for Fact Checking

There is currently a lot of discussion going on regarding the existence of originals for the photos that have been circulated or whether they were synthesized using AI deepfakes.

There are growing calls to refrain from spreading baseless speculation or rumors until the agency releases an official statement.

In particular, since the distribution of such explicit private photos or deepfake synthesis using AI is a clear criminal act, you should all be careful, as thoughtlessly sharing them or posting malicious comments can result in legal punishment!

4. Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)

Q1. Are the leaked photo of Choi Soobin's buttocks and the one-night stand rumors true?
A. As of now, it is merely a one-sided claim and rumor that has spread mainly through Chinese social media, and has not been confirmed as a fact at all. Many fans and users view it as a composite photo created using AI deepfake technology.

Q2. Why did it become an issue in China before Korea?
A. Since the original post and photos were uploaded by a Chinese user, they first spread via Chinese social media platforms such as Weibo. Subsequently, translated versions and screenshots were shared on Korean Twitter and online communities, leading to the information becoming known.

Q3. Can I be sued for simply retweeting or sharing a leaked photo?
A. Yes, that is correct. The act of spreading false information or sharing composite photos of unknown origin that cause sexual humiliation is subject to legal punishment for violating the Information and Communications Network Act and defamation, so you must absolutely not share them.
