There is talk that Excel Broadcasting channels are disappearing one after another following the deletion of Kakwang's YouTube channel. I have summarized everything at once, from the incident involving a 2 million won donation from an elementary school student to refund policies for minors.

The YouTuber 'Kakwang' channel, which had about 470,000 subscribers, disappeared overnight, and

There are rumors circulating that other Excel broadcasting channels are also being deleted one after another around the same time.

However, the situation escalated further when a story emerged about an elementary school student sending 2 million won to an Excel broadcast BJ.

I’ll sort things out step by step to figure out exactly what’s going on, and how much of it is fact and how much is just rumor ✨

1. Kakwang YouTube Channel, Deletion Confirmed on October 29 🚫

카광 유튜브 삭제 무슨 일? 엑셀방송 뜻, 계정 줄줄이 사라지는 이유 총정리

As of October 29, if you enter Kakwang's (real name Lee Sang-il, 31 years old) existing channel

Only the notice saying 'The channel has been deleted due to a violation of community guidelines' appears.

Channel Name: Kakwang

Subscribers: Approx. 470,000

Deletion confirmed date: October 29, 2026

Message: Channel removed due to violation of YouTube Community Guidelines

They say that the channel doesn't show up at all even if you search for it on YouTube right now.

However, YouTube has not yet disclosed which clause caused the deletion. 💡

2. It started with allegations of abuse and exploitation of Thai TV participants 😭

Around October 24, a post spread on online communities alleging that Kakwang and some broadcast officials had abused a female cast member who accompanied them on a trip to Thailand.

The writer, who identified themselves as the victim's lawyer, claims the following.

The female victim was in a vulnerable state suspected of having an intellectual disability.

I appeared on a broadcast while recovering from artificial hip joint surgery.

Currently, his leg is severely swollen, and he is refusing to talk due to emotional trauma.

Witness accounts from netizens who claim to have seen the Excel broadcast are also spreading.

The claim is that there were scenes where a performer was usually kept in the corner of the screen, but when sponsorship came in, they were brought to the center in their wheelchair and shaken, verbally insulted, or had alcohol poured on them.

I saw some reviews saying that most of the cast members had stiff expressions, making them wonder if they were sick. 😥

3. The case that reached the parliamentary audit 🔥

The decisive turning point that escalated the situation was the parliamentary audit of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee on October 26.

Representative Kim Ye-ji of the People Power Party stated that allegations have been raised in Thailand that YouTubers and broadcasting officials collectively abused and financially exploited a woman believed to have an intellectual disability.

Crutch damage: Breaking of crutches, dietary restriction, sleep disturbance, forced drinking

Control: Expressed a desire to return home but was unable to leave the scene

Money: 10 million won or more each in the name of broadcast appearances and sponsorships

Acting Commissioner General of the National Police Agency Kim Jong-cheol replied to the effect that he would "verify the facts," and

Two days later, the channel disappeared.

Kagwang denied the allegations, stating, "The woman in question is not intellectually disabled and has no disability rating," and "She participated voluntarily and there was no coercion."

They apologized for the provocative staging, such as breaking the crutches.

4. My elementary school daughter donated 2 million won to Excel Broadcasting 💸

Apart from the Kakwang incident, there is one more story that ignited the controversy surrounding Excel Broadcasting.

On October 16, a post was uploaded to a community's free bulletin board saying, "My elementary school daughter sent 2 million won to an Excel broadcast BJ."

An elementary school daughter donated about 2 million won to a male BJ on Excel Broadcasting.

When asked for the reason, he replied, "Because I like it when you call me by my nickname and react."

The parents belatedly requested a refund, but were reportedly told that it was difficult due to regulations and advised to report it to the police.

I kept sponsoring because the BJ would call my name and react when I sent money, and I liked that attention.

I heard the shock was so great that the writer said their hands were shaking so much they couldn't even write properly 😭

5. Excel Broadcasting Accounts Deleted One After Another? A Summary of the Spreading Rumors 📊

Excel Broadcasting is an internet broadcast that ranks and displays the donation amounts received by crew members like an Excel spreadsheet. .

Since the structure fuels sponsorship competition, there have always been many controversies regarding overheating and sexual content, and recently, an increasing number of Excel broadcasts have been moving their platforms to YouTube. .

The trend spreading through the community is like this.

Parents report to the media and political circles after being denied a refund

As the report was released, issues were also raised in political circles.

The story that a government ministry requested YouTube to suspend a channel

There is talk that YouTube is cracking down on a large number of Excel broadcasting channels that have been reported.

There is talk that not only broadcast channels but also participants' individual channels are being suspended.

After his channel was deleted, Kakwang also stated that "YouTube is shutting down Excel-related channels," and that his channel was also deleted in connection with "Cyber Talking Bar" and "Ago Excel."

However, there is one point that must be addressed here!

Neither the government's request for suspension nor YouTube's policy of bulk cleanup has been officially confirmed yet 💡

As of now, it is at the level where 'there are indications that content is being deleted,' and there are even rumors that some broadcasters are using names like 'health broadcasts' to evade crackdowns.

6. Can you really get a refund for payments made by a minor? 🤔

This is the part of the story that many people were curious about.

Under our Civil Law, a contract entered into by a minor without the consent of a legal representative (parent) is, in principle, voidable.

If it is canceled, it creates grounds for getting the money back.

However, there are exceptions.

Cases where a minor impersonates an adult by using a parent's name or resident registration number

In the case of an amount within the range permitted by parents, such as allowance.

In such cases, cancellation may be difficult, so the actual refund depends on the payment method and situation.

If you have experienced a similar situation, it is a good idea to keep your payment history and contact the platform's customer service center or the Korea Consumer Agency (1372) first.

With the Kagwang parliamentary audit issue compounded by the elementary school student sponsorship scandal, many believe that underground YouTube channels will play it safe for a while. 🔥
