“All fans are ugly” Girl group member criticizes male fans…

[TV Report=Reporter Han Areum] Actress Haruka Shimazaki (30), formerly a member of the Japanese girl group AKB48, faced criticism after making remarks on TV that seemed to evaluate the faces of male fans.
Actress Haruka Shimazaki, who appeared on ABEMA's "Love Hyena 2" (愛のハイエナ2), which aired on the 4th (local time), recalled her days as a member of AKB48.
In the broadcast, Shimazaki Haruka and Kashiwagi Yuki, who left AKB48 in April, reminisced about the 'handshake event'. A handshake event is an event where celebrities and fans shake hands, and it is not held in Japan.
Kashiwagi Yuki said, “More than 500 fans come to the handshake event. (Depending on the fan) I distinguish between informal and formal speech,” and said that she has a know-how in dealing with fans. Shimazaki Haruka showed a contrasting attitude with Kashiwagi Yuki when asked about an impressive fan, saying, “I don’t remember at all.”
When the host, Bukuro Higashi, asked, “Does anyone come to the handshake event that you like?” Haruka Shimazaki firmly answered, “No.” Haruka Shimazaki added, “There are no handsome men among the people who like idols,” causing a stir in the studio.
