Uhm Jung-hwa criticizes, “It’s ridiculous that my age comes before my actions in the article.”

This came up during a conversation with Melo. Melo pointed out, “These days, young people think their age is personal information, so they don’t tell them,” and “When they hear their age, they say, ‘You’re really younger than I thought,’ and that creates prejudice.”

Uhm Jung-hwa pointed out, “I was 28 or 29 years old when I saw articles saying things like, ‘28-year-old Uhm Jung-hwa said this,’ ‘34-year-old Uhm Jung-hwa, is this really her age?’ They kept putting my age in front of the article titles.” She also said, “They don’t use their age in front of male actors. They only use it in front of female actors and female singers. That seems a bit violent.”

Melo also agreed, saying, “I think so too.”
