Sung Si-kyung, Makgeolli Released 5 Months Later, Ministry of Food and Drug Safety Administrative Disposition “Oversight Due to Ignorance”
2024.07.01 19:20
Singer Sung Si-kyung revealed that he received disciplinary action from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety regarding the takju (rice wine) named after him.
This is a punishment for the fact that some of the product information was missing from the test takju that was handwritten and delivered to fellow celebrities.
Sung Si-kyung announced on his channel on the 1st, "I have some bad news to tell you about Gyeongtakju. Before the release of Gyeongtakju, I was excited to get advice on the taste and shared some with people around me to test it out. (Handwritten labels: Dongyeop-hyung, Jo Han-hyung, Cheon Sik-hyung, Kyuhyun, Se-yoon, etc.) At that time, a petitioner filed a complaint that some information on the product label was missing from the sample product, so we received disposition from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety."

They say it's being sold at smart stores. When did they even get into the makgeolli business?
