Along with reporting to the Fair Trade Commission, the Korean Film Industry Association issued a ‘Statement by Film Industry for the Resolution of the Problem of ‘Unfair Settlement’ in Theaters and the Restoration of the Korean Film Ecosystem’ and strongly demanded that theaters cease their unfair practices and take steps to resolve the screen monopoly.

The purpose of this report to the Fair Trade Commission is to protect the Korean film ecosystem and create a virtuous cycle that benefits audiences by eliminating bubbles in theater ticket prices and ensuring transparent settlement and distribution.
