Professor Seo Kyung-deok and producer Na Young-seok have stepped forward to promote Jeju Haenyeo.

Professor Seo Kyung-deok of Sungshin Women's University and producer Na Young-seok have joined forces to release a multilingual video about the unsung heroes of Dokdo, the 'Jeju Haenyeo'.

The 4-minute video has been released in Korean and English and is being widely shared with netizens both domestically and internationally. The main content of the video is the story of how the seaweed harvested by Jeju female divers from Dokdo became emergency food for the people staying on Dokdo and how the proceeds from the sales were used to support Dokdo security funds.
