The reason why Ansan National Archery Team was unable to participate in the Paris Olympics.. (+ Results of the National Team Selection)
2024.07.30 17:51
Are there any of you who felt awkward because Ansan athletes weren't seen at this Olympics?
I'm like that too. There are many people who usually start to get interested in archery around the Olympic season.
I think a lot of people were surprised that Ansan players, who they obviously thought would be there, weren't on the roster.
How is Ansan, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics triple gold medalist, not a member of the national team?
You may have a question:
The reason is that Ansan players were eliminated in the national team selection.
Since Korean archery is a fair competition, it takes 6 to 7 months of national team selection and evaluation matches .
This evaluation does not require any previous gold medal history, age, or experience.
Because the evaluation is determined by just one arrow!
Our national team players who won the gold medal for Korea this time
It is said that they were selected through 1st to 3rd rounds of selection starting in September of last year~!
They say that out of 101 people, only 6 were qualified to compete in the Paris Olympics.
How could our country not win the gold medal in archery? LOL!! This is really amazing.

I'm so proud ❤️❤️👍
