NCT Wish's recent status ahead of comeback on the 12th

NCT Wish has been busy ahead of their comeback on October 12, so I’ve put together an update on their recent activities. Their 4th mini album, *I SPY*, will be released at 6 PM on the 12th and is said to contain a total of 6 songs, including the title track of the same name, as well as *We Own This Street*, *UPGRADE*, and *Super Major*.

Introductions to the tracks were also released. "We Own This Street" is a song that blends alternative pop with a hip-hop foundation, and "UPGRADE" is said to continue the game worldview of "Videohood," a track from the third mini-album. "Super Major" is described as a pop dance song centered on upbeat synths and a fast progression. It stood out that all three songs are connected by the keyword "confidence."

They also continued performing on stage prior to their comeback. It is said that they sang "Hands Up," "Make You Shine," "Pop Pop," "Ode to Love," and "Sticky" at Hanyang University ERICA Campus and Kyung Hee University International Campus on September 29, and at the Dongguk University Festival on the 30th. They reportedly announced their comeback on October 12 live on-site and gave a preview of some of the choreography for their new songs.

On October 3rd, they also performed at a-nation 2026, a music festival held in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan. It is said that this marks their third consecutive year performing at this festival. It must have been quite a tight schedule, juggling everything from Korean university festivals to major Japanese festivals.

NCT Wish debuted on February 21, 2024, and celebrated their 2nd anniversary this year. They are currently active with six members: Xion, Riku, Yuushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya. If news about the new album is released on the day of the comeback, I will organize and share it with you.
