I looked at a photo again from the day NCT 127 released their 5th studio album, Fact Check. The photo shows the album release press conference held in Yeouido, Seoul, on October 6, 2023. It is a scene where the members gathered together to introduce their new music, so it is nice to look at while thinking about the album.

This album contains nine songs, including the title track of the same name. It is packed with songs that evoke different landscapes just by looking at their titles, such as Zero Gravity, Parade, Angel Eyes, and Shower. Rather than judging the entire album based solely on the title track, I think it will be fun to explore the B-side tracks in order.

At the time, the members shared their thoughts on the team and the stage to mark their 7th debut anniversary. Mark said it was a time to confirm just how sincere he is about this work, the team, and the stage. Doyoung introduced the album released during that period by saying it captured the team's mindset. It is memorable that they released a new album at a time when they were looking back on their long career.

The title track was introduced as a dance song blending synthesizers and Afro rhythms. Looking back at the group photo, along with the tracklist from that time and the messages left by the members, it feels like it becomes clearer when that album was released. It is also nice to take the time to recall past activities like this, together with a single photograph.
