"It's rude" Fans are angry at Hani and Han Kang's caricature... SNL requests review by the broadcasting arbitration committee

Coupang Play's 'SNL Korea' is being criticized for its controversy over its portrayal of New Jeans' Honey and Nobel Prize in Literature winner Han Kang.

On the 6th season of 'SNL Korea' that was released on the 19th, actor Kim Eui-sung appeared as a host. On this day, the cast parodied Hani, who recently appeared as a witness at the state audit, and Nobel Prize in Literature winner Han Kang.

Netizens were outraged, leaving comments such as, "I can see SNL is crossing the line little by little, so I don't watch it," "Can't viewers tell the difference between satire and mockery?" "It's rude," "Satire and mockery are different," "Why do we follow people who have done nothing wrong?" "I hope the person involved doesn't watch it." New Jeans fans, in particular, responded actively by filing complaints with the Korea Communications Standards Commission through the National Petition Center.
