Vietnamese national actor Tran Thanh, cast as Xue Rengui, the Governor of the Andong Protectorate of the Tang Dynasty, joined forces with Lee Soon-won, who plays his strategist Di Renjie, along with Kim Jae-cheol, Choi Gwi-hwa, and Park Myung-hoon. *The Sword: The Sword of Godumakhan* is aiming for a 2027 release and is scheduled to be shown not only in Korea but also in Japan and Vietnam.
