I went to the Rise concert, and the three hours flew by in a flash.
I went to the Rise concert over the weekend. First off, as soon as I entered the venue, the orange lights were so pretty that it put me in a good mood. They also played VCRs throughout the concert, so even though it was a three-hour performance, it wasn't boring at all, contrary to my expectations.
I especially liked the musical version of "Fly Up," and as expected, hearing a concert live definitely felt different. I already liked the songs from *Rise*, but hearing the B-side tracks live made it even better. Overall, the stage setup was diverse and fun to watch, and the live vocals were clear, so I was satisfied.
However, I think you have to set the view aside. I once watched the Rise performance from really close up for about 30 minutes, and personally, I preferred watching for 30 minutes up close rather than for 3 hours from afar.
As expected, the dopamine you get from watching up close is on a whole different level. No matter how beautifully the stage is decorated, it’s inevitable that the sense of immersion drops a bit when viewed from afar. That made me realize there is a reason why concert seats have different prices.
Still, the Rise concert itself was really fun.
