Acting and side stories to be seen together in Rise's new song

News regarding RISE's new single "Insomnia" is gradually becoming more concrete. It is said that the music video is produced in a dramatic format, allowing viewers to see the emotional acting of all six members. Furthermore, since the video portrays the specific character each member is assigned, it seems we will be able to experience an atmosphere different from what we usually see on stage. Therefore, I am interested not only in the song itself but also in how the video unfolds.

Meanwhile, it is said that this project also involves participation that adds to the narrative through writing and illustrations. Specifically, the side stories were written by writer Cheon Seon-ran, and the illustrations were handled by artist Noma. Looking at this composition, one can sense a direction to explore a single song across multiple media. However, since the full result has not yet been revealed, it would be best to wait until we can actually verify it rather than making assumptions about the content or quality beforehand.

I am also curious about the role the members' emotional expressions will play in this video. For instance, the way viewers look can differ between scenes that showcase choreography and those where the situation is conveyed solely through facial expressions without dialogue. So, once it is released, I think it would be interesting to watch the entire story first, and then re-examine each member's individual expressions. Of course, right now, we are just in the anticipation stage based on the announced format.

And the single release date has been announced as October 26th. Therefore, the news shared today is not about the reaction after the release, but rather about the preparation process leading up to the unveiling. Also, the impression might change depending on the order in which you encounter the music, video, and side story. So, rather than jumping to conclusions this time, I intend to listen while following the content that Rise presents step by step.
