His agency SM Entertainment stated on the 15th, "Seunghan is preparing to debut as a solo artist in the second half of next year," and "Seunghan is continuing to practice with the systematic training, producing, management, and other support necessary for a solo debut."

Seunghan, who debuted with Rise in September of last year, suspended his group's activities indefinitely in November of the same year after controversy arose when videos and photos he had taken privately while he was a trainee were leaked online.

SM announced Seunghan's return to team activities last month, but fans responded with strong protests, including sending wreaths of protest to the SM building.

Accordingly, Seunghan decided to leave Rise just two days after the announcement of his return to the team.

SM said, "Seunghan wants to show a new side of himself as a solo artist and unfold his talents and dreams."

In many ways, you are amazing

Hmm, going this far

A new look as a solo artist..

I want to develop my talents and dreams.

Those who like it will continue to support it

Let's just go forward separately like this and not get entangled

Well, I hope you do well, um, um..
