It was so nice to see Vernon and The8's honest sides on Halmyungsoo.

In *Hal Myung Soo*, Vernon and The8, members of SEVENTEEN's new unit V8, met with Park Myung-soo and enjoyed a fun date in Eulwangri. In this video released on June 26, 2026, the two traveled with Park Myung-soo and entertained fans by having an honest conversation on various topics, ranging from updates on their lives to settlements and military enlistment.

The three continued their conversation naturally in the moving car, and Vernon created a heartwarming atmosphere by revealing his extraordinary admiration for Park Myung-soo, stating that he makes sure to watch his content. The part that particularly drew a lot of attention was the discussion about settlements and spending habits. When Vernon said he wanted to buy a car once he received his settlement money, Park Myung-soo elicited a big laugh by delivering a "fact bomb" with his signature blunt wit, asking why he would buy a car when he was going to the military.

Undeterred by this, Vernon revealed a cute wish to buy an 8-cylinder car because the unit's name is V8.

Vernon, born in 1998, is a dual citizen facing upcoming military enlistment. The public and fans who watched the broadcast reacted enthusiastically to the members' honest and down-to-earth personalities. Many commented that the members' strong chemistry stood out in their natural conversations, which were not forced or artificial.
