I took another look at the first mini-album by V8, the unit featuring Seventeen's The8 and Vernon. The unit name itself is catchy, combining the V and 8 taken from their names. It feels special that two members who have worked together in the same team for a long time are presenting music unique to just the two of them.

Their first album, V8, contains eight songs, including the title track "Singasong." They say the album uses electronic music to express the wandering and confusion of the past, as well as the recovery and growth found within it. It makes me want to listen intently to each track to see how these two individuals with distinct personalities have unfolded this story through their voices and sounds.

The released concept photos for REV are also eye-catching. They are said to capture the energy of moving forward, starting from the meaning of increasing an engine's rotational speed. The combination of the sunset scenery and the two members makes one even more curious about the story of youth that the album aims to convey.

It is fun to discover the unique charm of this unit, as it features a different combination from what we see in SEVENTEEN's group performances. I want to experience the atmosphere created by the two members throughout the entire album while maintaining their individual colors. I hope to see more new collaborations like this in the future.
