Stray Kids Achieve 9 Consecutive No. 1s on Billboard 200

It is the second-highest record after the Beatles. Billboard reportedly explained that Stray Kids' new album, *THIS & THAT*, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, marking the second-highest number one ranking for a group and tying the record with the Rolling Stones. This announcement came out on August 16th, local time.

"THIS & THAT" is a mini-album released on August 7, and it reportedly topped the chart on August 22 with 369,000 units. Starting with "ODDINARY" in 2022, nine consecutive albums have reached number one, and Stray Kids is said to be the only artist in the world to debut at number one and enter the chart nine times in a row.

The record continued after that. On the Billboard 200 dated September 5, it reached number 8, maintaining a top 10 position for three consecutive weeks, and was reportedly number 3 the week before that. It is impressive that it started at number 1 and stayed in the upper ranks without dropping immediately.

It is also noteworthy that they are a team that composes their own songs. As of August 26, Bang Chan has 243 songs registered with the Korea Music Copyright Association, the most among K-pop idols, while Changbin has 207 and Han has 204, all ranking within the top ten.

It is a record where a picture comes to mind just by lining up the numbers, so I find myself counting them again and again.
