The episode where TVXQ almost became undefeated...

In the MBC entertainment program 'I Live Alone' broadcast in March 2018,

TVXQ appeared haha

Kian84 once testified about TVXQ's popularity when they debuted.

On this day, Gian84

"It was popular at the time," he said.

He also copied the group name and member names of 'TVXQ'

He revealed that he was called ' Somi Hee-min ' lol

TVXQ (東方神起) means the rise of the 'god of the east'.

At the beginning of their debut, their group name and member names (as testified by Kian84) were very popular.

At the time, the group name consisted of four letters and the members' names were reminiscent of four-character idioms.

It was a rather unconventional name.

But before the name TVXQ was decided, the candidate was,

I eat jeonmeokgo (a whale that lives by eating legends),

Five viscera and six bowels,

The East is undefeatedㅋㅋㅋㅋ

In particular, SM Entertainment CEO Lee Soo-man personally went to China.

Meet the director of the movie <The East is Red>

They even received permission to use the name of the hit movie of the same name, 'The East is Red'!!!

But when I used the group name Dongbang Bulpae, the Chinese characters didn't look pretty.

This one is also eliminated

In the end, it means that the 'God of the East' recommended by an acquaintance of mine will rise.

It is said that the final decision was made to go with <TVXQ>.

If only the Chinese characters were a little prettier, the team name would have been decided as 'Dongbang Bulpae'^^;;
