Born in Yesan, South Chungcheong Province, in 2003, Shin Yu (Shin Jung-hwan) was the youngest of three siblings in the Shin family. He initially had no intention of becoming a celebrity, but after being cast at Lotte World, he trained for a while before finally making his debut with Pledis Entertainment.
