According to the '2024 Global Culture and Trend List' released by YouTube on the 12th, Tours' (Shin Yoo, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) debut song 'First Encounter Doesn't Go as Planned' ranked 6th in 'Most Popular Songs' in Korea and 4th in 'Most Popular Songs in Shorts'.
Of the 10 songs selected for 'Most Popular Songs,' 9 songs, excluding 'First Encounter Doesn't Go as Planned,' are all songs by female artists. They include 'Worry Addiction' by QWER, 'Supernova' by Espa, 'Magnetic' by Ailrit, 'I Hate Being Hurt' by (G)I-dle, 'APT.' by Rosé and Bruno Mars, 'How Sweet' by New Jeans, 'Night Yang Gaeng' by Vivi, 'Love Wins All' by IU, and 'HEYA' by Ive.
YouTube's 'Top Popular Songs' and 'Top Popular Songs in Shorts' are selected based on songs released in 2024 or songs with a significant growth rate compared to the previous year (based on domestic views including official music videos, lyric videos, art tracks, etc.).
