Zero Base One Blue Paradise Showcase

This is a photo from the showcase where Zero Base One introduced their fifth mini-album, BLUE PARADISE. The members shared stories about the album together at Blue Square in Seoul on February 24, 2025. Looking at the group photo of us standing side by side, I am reminded of the atmosphere from back then when we were presenting our new music.

The title track, BLUE, was introduced as an alternative pop dance song featuring a blend of synthesizers and emotional vocals. Since the same word appears in both the song title and the album title, it naturally draws attention to how the overall story will unfold. The description that the album attempts to capture even emotions like sadness and anxiety as part of life is also impressive.

At the time of release, Kim Kyu-bin shared that he enjoyed preparing the album, which was being released after a long hiatus, while Kim Tae-rae stated that he wanted to create a unique color by mixing a mysterious atmosphere with refreshing energy. Since this expression evokes both moods at once, it makes the direction the album aimed for even clearer.

The members also showcased unit songs for the first time in this album. It is nice to see combinations that are different from the title track, which features multiple voices. Looking at the group photo from the showcase, I find myself calmly recalling what colors each unit presented. It is fun to look back on their past activities.
