A peculiar day

The day I saw the sun again

photoI don't know if it was day or night, I didn't even know the date of that day, everything was gray, outside it was raining as always, the room was empty, just me and nothing else, it conveyed a feeling of oblivion and sadness
Out of nowhere, there was a knock on the door of that room. Surprised, I opened it and found eight boys. Eight boys, and I don't know why, but I let them in as if it were nothing, with complete trust. They came in as if nothing was amiss, as if they already knew me, as if they knew we were destined to meet. I closed the door, and when I turned to look at them, they were laughing. Wow, with just those smiles, I could see a strange light. I didn't know what it was or where it came from. I followed the light to the window, opened that old, dusty window, and peeked out, curious because I wanted to know what that light was. I looked up at the sky and saw a radiant sun. It had been years since I'd seen that ball of heat, that radiant star. Surprised, I turned to look at them; they were still laughing. I approached them and asked, "How?" They said, "How what?" I replied, "How could you make the sun reappear? How? How could you make that sun, which had been hiding from me for so many years, come out with just a few laughs?" They replied that they didn't know, but they were happy because that room was no longer cold and sad. I felt it too; that room was now warm and happy.

Those boys are truly magical.
