Making a know-it-all

The place Min Yoongi followed to was an entertainment company called HYDE. It was the famous place that would be the first to come up when asked to name the top three entertainment companies in Korea. It was the name that aspiring entertainers most desired: HYDE.

Kim Yeo-ju was curious. 'What exactly about Min Yoon-gi did they like about him that made them cast him?' Judging by the status window, there wasn't anything particularly outstanding about him.

“Hey, are you handsome?”

Kim Yeo-ju asks him indirectly, "Doesn't he have such an absurd face that he deserves to be cast as HYDE?" Although her words trailed off a bit, she must have seemed quite rude. If his looks stat is around B+, he's at a very decent level among ordinary men, but among celebrities, he's far behind in terms of looks.

Moreover, given HYDE's preference for a cold and decadent image, there was even less reason to cast Min Yoongi.

“I wasn’t chosen based on my looks. I just got a producing offer.”

That's right. The only thing that was above an A in Min Yoongi's status window was his ability to write and compose lyrics. It was uploading a song he made as a hobby on a Circle account he made for fun that made things big.

If he could just get into HYDE, which is the undisputed top company in the Korean industry, it wouldn't be a matter of time before he would make a fortune, but Min Yoongi is now facing the biggest test of his life to sit on a pile of money.

First, Min Yoongi unleashed a few more of his own compositions. The first was a powerful dance track with a predominantly Eastern sound. The majestic sounds of gongs and gongs, along with the underlying bass reminiscent of Arirang, harmonized harmoniously.

"What the fuck is this?" Kim Yeo-ju cursed. Who would have thought that a place she'd just followed out of boredom would be home to such insane quality music? Even for Kim Yeo-ju, who'd been a fan for over 10 years, it was a level that would make her exclaim in admiration.

“Did Mr. Yoongi major in music?
With this level of quality, you've probably been approached by other companies. How much work have you done?

The person in charge, who was spewing questions with sparkling eyes, seemed to be already completely captivated by Min Yoongi.

Kim Yeo-ju was flustered when she saw the status window with S in it for the first time in five years. It was shocking to see someone with an S eye for detail for the first time, but the sentence written at the very bottom was quite a sight. Judging by the possessiveness she was already showing, it seemed like she really liked Min Yoongi. The person in charge wanted her to listen to another song quickly.

The second song, which he played at the manager's urging, was an original song that he rearranged in his own style. It was 'Question' by 'TOU', a song that would undoubtedly come up if you asked him to name the most famous boy group of the moment.

Kim Yeo-ju thought it would be difficult to attract attention with this song. What kind of idiot would arrange a song by a top idol and take a test? There was no need to take the risk of a failure. No matter how well the arrangement was done, it wouldn't be easy to beat the original.

[Q-uestion.
My question came back like a boomerang.
· · · · · ·

How long does it take to talk to yourself?
It's like a crazy sound, it's noise or question

Q-uestion, question

You ask the piece hidden in the darkness that barked.
Please, bright yellow moonlight, hang on my orbit.
Whoa- woo— ]

The original's intense beats were transformed into a lyrical melody. Furthermore, the ear-splitting, thrilling high notes were transformed into triple-duplicated chords. The song felt completely at odds with its original atmosphere. In fact, Min Yoongi's arrangement was superior in terms of conveying the lyrics.

‘This works.’

The manager's eyes sparkled even brighter. Unable to control his expression, he lifted the corners of his mouth to his eyes and held out a contract. It was his determination to immediately lock you into HYDE.

“We will provide you with the best support.
Of course, I need to consult with the executives above as well.
I don't think there's anyone who would turn down Min Yoongi.
“I’ll explain the profit-related part in more detail later.”

Kim Yeo-ju envied Min Yoon-gi. His future was already secure. It hadn't been that long since he'd left his teenage years, but Yoon-gi's clear face, clutching a contract from a major corporation, looked even more radiant today.
