As I opened the door slightly, I saw a neatly made bed and a clean room.

Perhaps because Byun was not one to always keep things neat and tidy, it was hard for him to believe that Baekhyun was his son.

Baekhyun was separated from his mother at the age of 10. Mrs. Byun was proud of her son.

Mr. Byun left his questions behind and headed to the third floor.

Because the boarders' rooms were on the third floor. The first room he went to was Baekhyun's best friend Jongin's room.

The first thing Byun's eyes looked at was his spread blanket and half-eaten snack.

Byun-ssi has been realizing lately that Jong-in, who prefers to play with others, is a better fit for her son than Baekhyun. Then, she took a bite of Jong-in's unfinished chicken and headed to another room.

A sophisticated and luxurious room. It belonged to Baekhyun's other best friend, Jongdae. Jongdae's room, with its style that Byun-ssi liked, kept Byun-ssi from leaving for a while.

Oh my, Minseok hasn't been in his room for a while, so the books have piled up.

Before entering the last room in the boarding house, Byun groaned. He had been cleaning Minseok's room too passionately.

While attending high school, this was the room of Sehun, the youngest in the boarding house. Not only was he loved by the other boarders, but even Byun-ssi looked at him with such delight that he acted cute.

Mr. Byun, who had been cleaning passionately, felt so exhausted that he felt like he was losing his energy and just lay down on the sofa.
