“Ni-Ki? What are you doing here?”
Ni-Ki
She stood after my appearance. I dragged the empty chair infront of her and sat on it cooly.
Ni-Ki
“Hi,” I waved my fingers, purposely leaving the word 'noona' behind.
Ni-Ki
Jugeum only raised her eyebrows at me before crossing her arms.
Jugeum
“Why are you here? Where’s your sister?”
Ni-Ki
She was supposed to be meeting with my older sister– her bestfriend. Instead of answering her, all I did was to stare at her like a fool.
Ni-Ki
Jugeum’s perfectly carved eyelids are emphasized because of her mask. The glasses she’s wearing only added up to it. So pretty.
Ni-Ki
My staring made her anxious that she started blurting out whatever comes on her mind. I smirked.
Jugeum
“A-and, didn’t I told you to call me 'noona'? Even if you like someone older, you should still respect them!”
Ni-Ki
Of course, she knows I like her. A lot.
Ni-Ki
Jugeum looked away making me chuckle slightly. I nodded at her. She eyed me curiously.
Ni-Ki
“Noona is sick, she told me to meet you here instead.”
Ni-Ki
I put my elbows on the top of the table, leaning in making her move backwards, eyes widening. A ghost of smile touched my lips.
Jugeum
“Richi is sick?! Why– what happened? Is it serious or–”
Ni-Ki
I chuckled at her reaction. Cute.
Ni-Ki
“Don’t worry, she’s resting well. It’s just a cold. And...”
Ni-Ki
Right behind me is a piece of red rose I’ve grown personally at home.
Ni-Ki
“...a flower for a gorgeous lady on table 10.”
Ni-Ki
Jugeum’s reaction when I showed it to her was very satisfying. Ah, why is she so cute?
Jugeum
“Wh- what- why?”
Ni-Ki
“Just because.”
Ni-Ki
I smiled at her. Slowly, the corner of her lips curved into a small smile. She purse it to a pout but it’s obvious that it made her happy.
Ni-Ki
She smelled it then look at me playfully. It made me chuckle, feeling the butterflies on my stomach. I’m so whipped for this girl, really.
Ni-Ki
“I heard rose is your favourite so,”
Jugeum
“It isn’t, though? Whom did you heard it from? Must be a fake news.”
Ni-Ki
Stunned, my forehead creased. But Richi Noona told me so! Does that mean she lied to me?!
Ni-Ki
“But it is. If it isn’t your favourite, then what is?”
Ni-Ki
I tried to trick her into telling me what it is because she just won’t do it.
Jugeum
“I love tulips, Ni-Ki! Whoever is your source of information is lying to you.”
Ni-Ki
Jugeum’s pearl teeth showed after she flash her prettiest smile tonight, happily smelling the rose I gave her.
Ni-Ki
Even her smiling-eyes are twinkling.
Ni-Ki
Tulips, huh...
