I'm really looking forward to it since Park Min-young and Go Soo are appearing together lol.

Is the love line based on Park Min-young and Yook Sung-jae's younger man concept?

You must be super busy this year with BTOB's full group comeback and preparing for a drama~

Haha, anyway, I wonder when the full group album is coming out~~

Yook Sung-jae, whom we will see in a drama again in 2026~

(Top Star News Reporter Kwon Jae-hoon) Yook Sung-jae, a member of BTOB and an active actor, is taking on the challenge of playing a younger man character in a new drama. He will play the main character Han Sun-woo in 'Nine to Six,' scheduled to air on SBS in the second half of 2026, and will be a key figure in the office romance.

This work is set against the backdrop of Chronic Motors and tells the story of the interactions between the legal team and the management. It captures both a realistic workplace atmosphere and romance, centering on the relationships between the rational Legal Team Deputy Manager Kang Yi-ji, the kind-hearted intern Han Seon-woo, and Division Head Park Hyun-tae.

In the drama, Han Sun-woo, played by Yook Sung-jae, is an intern in the legal team at Chronic Motors. He is established as a character who earns the trust of the team through his quick judgment and diligence. With the addition of a kind demeanor, he is portrayed as an ideal younger man rarely seen in real life, leading the atmosphere of the show.

Park Min-young plays the role of Kang Yi-ji, and Go Soo plays the role of Park Hyun-tae, working together as a duo. Interest is growing in what choices the three characters will make amidst a three-way dynamic involving a rational deputy manager, a sweet intern, and a general manager.

For Yook Sung-jae, this marks his next move following his previous work. Last year, he showcased a transformation in his acting by playing two roles in SBS's *Ghost House*, and he won the Best Actor Award at the 2025 SBS Drama Awards for this role. He expanded the scope of his acting career by delivering performances that shifted between contrasting characters.

His career continued even after the award. Yook Sung-jae was named at the '2026 Korea First Brand Awards' as a promising male actor expected to lead 2026. It is believed that his ability to show a different side of himself in every project contributed to this selection.

This time, he signals a new side of himself in the romance genre. Han Sun-woo is a character who shakes the heart of Kang Yi-ji, who is portrayed as a workaholic; his delicate attitude at work and the changes in their relationship are expected to influence the plot's development. Another key point to watch is how the character of a younger intern armed with kindness aligns with Yook Sung-jae's existing image.

It is also noteworthy that he is balancing group activities with acting. BTOB, the group Yook Sung-jae belongs to, recently released a new song titled "We Again" to mark their 14th anniversary. Moving back and forth between music stages and drama sets, he is being introduced as a so-called "hexagonal all-rounder."

With this addition, Yook Sung-jae has expanded his filmography to include modern office dramas, following his work in historical and fantasy genres. The acting tone and chemistry he displays in this romance drama, chosen after winning an acting award, are expected to serve as another benchmark for his future activities.

SBS's new drama 'Nine to Six' is currently in preparation with the goal of airing in the second half of 2026, and Yook Sung-jae will meet viewers alongside Park Min-young and Go Soo in this work.
