I still get goosebumps watching BTS's performance at the World Cup final halftime show again.

I have been rewatching the halftime show of the 2026 FIFA World Cup final held this July.

For the first time in World Cup history, a halftime show was introduced at the final, and BTS stood as headliners alongside Madonna and Shakira on the first stage.

Since it was the final between Spain and Argentina, there must have been a huge number of viewers worldwide, and it was really impressive to see the seven of them singing "Dynamite" as a complete group right in the middle of it.

The setup featured Jungkook appearing first to start the song, followed by the other members joining in one by one, and the roar of the stadium could be felt even through the video.

Jungkook also stood on the stage at the opening ceremony of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, but I think it is even more meaningful this time because all the members stood together on the stage of the World Cup final.

The details were also good; Suga wore a jersey with the Red Devils emblem, while Jimin and J-Hope came out wearing clothes with the number 7 on them.

I felt proud the whole time I was watching because it seemed like they captured the spirit of supporting the Korean national team and even the numbers symbolizing the seven members.

I think the sentiment expressed before the performance, stating that music is a universal language conveying hope and harmony, also suited the stage well.
