BTS's Jin is on the verge of 50 consecutive weeks at number one.

Jin, just one step away from 50 weeks at No. 1

The news that BTS's Jin has claimed the number one spot on the 'Fan & Star' solo ranking for 49 consecutive weeks is truly amazing. Hearing that he held onto the top spot by garnering a whopping 4,211,852 votes in the poll held from September 28 to October 5, I can once again feel just how fervent the fans' consistent love for Jin is. Above all, the fact that he has consistently maintained the number one position for such a long period of 49 weeks is even more impressive. With only one week left to reach 50 consecutive weeks at number one, I imagine the anticipation for the next voting results must be extraordinary. Having already received the special privilege of large billboard advertising for achieving 10 and 30 consecutive weeks at number one, and knowing that he will receive another special gift—an M-Screen advertisement in Hongdae, Seoul—if he reaches 50 weeks, as a fan, I really want to be a part of that moment.

Looking at Jin's record, I am reminded once again of the immense power that consistency generates. It is truly meaningful that this long record of 49 weeks was not achieved with just one or two high vote counts, but rather through the collective support and encouragement of fans every week. As a fan, I am especially delighted and proud to see that not only Jin, but all the BTS members, continue to perform well within the rankings. With the possibility open to setting new records beyond 50 weeks to 70 or even 100, I look forward to the journey ahead and want to continue cheering for him.

It is noteworthy that not only Jin’s individual voting records but also BTS’s global chart performance continues to be steady. It is truly amazing to hear that their 5th studio album, 'Arirang,' ranked 43rd on the Billboard 200 and remained on the chart for 28 consecutive weeks, while the title track, 'SWIM,' ranked 27th on the Billboard Global 200 and 11th on the Global Excluding U.S. chart. As a fan, I feel even more proud that they continue to maintain their presence on global charts despite quite some time having passed since the album's release, as it seems to demonstrate BTS's true strength. It is truly heartwarming to see good music consistently loved and new records continuously being set.

Furthermore, with the added news that Jin won the My Star Award at the '2026 The Fact Music Awards,' the significance of his recent activities feels even greater. The fact that Jin continues to achieve such great results in records created by fans' votes and love is truly precious in itself. With only one result remaining to reach 50 consecutive weeks at number one, I hope that the fans' hearts will come together once again to complete this meaningful record. Beyond the number 50, I want to continue supporting the music and stages Jin will show us, as well as the new moments he will create as BTS, for a long time to come.
